シノプシス
A prisoner belonging to a void known as “Lacuna,” longs to escape their entrapment. As they search for a way out, they confront the unchecked mental illness that plagued their former life.
1988年、アメリカ・マサチューセッツ州ミドルセックス。ある晩、高校生ドニー・ダーコの前に銀色のウサギが現われる。ドニーはウサギに導かれるようにフラフラと家を出ていく。そして、ウサギから世界の終わりを告げられた。あと28日6時間42分12秒。翌朝、ドニーはゴルフ場で目を覚ます。腕には「28.06.42.12」の文字。帰宅してみるとそこには、ジェット機のエンジンが落下していてドニーの部屋を直撃していた。何がなんだか分からないながら九死に一生を得たドニー。その日から彼の周囲では、不可解な出来事が次々と起こり始めた。
航空機墜落。地面に激突し真っ二つに引き裂かれた機体から、パニック状態の乗客たちを安全な場所へと導くひとりの男がいた。彼の名はマックス。妻と息子を持つごく普通の男性であったが、この事件をきっかけに、恐怖を超越、極度の苺アレルギーも一切なくなるなど、まさに別人に変わってしまう。
