"Le Dabe" retired many years ago and now he lives in the Tropics where he owns stables and horses. He is a very rich man. He was the king of all money counterfeiters. 修道院でキリスト像から血が流れる奇怪な事件が発生。ニーマンス警視が捜査を開始する中、像と同じ体勢をとらされた男性の他殺体が見つかる。一方、麻薬事件を捜査する若手刑事レダは、キリストに似た傷だらけの男と遭遇し、彼を病院に運ぶ。ニーマンスは修道院の被害者が病院に搬入された男の仲間と知り、レダと共同で捜査に当たることに。やがて事件の背後に“黙示録の天使たち”を名乗る謎の組織があることが明らかになる。
