Ken and Happy, looking for their friend Cherokee, run into an outlaw gang led by Ritter who have been terrorizing the ranchers. Ken figures that one of the prominent citizens is the real boss and sets a trap to find him.
With King Richard off to the Crusades, Prince John and his slithering minion, Sir Hiss, set about taxing Nottingham's citizens with support from the corrupt sheriff - and staunch opposition by the wily Robin Hood and his band of merry men.

イーストウッド監督の第2作目にあたる、自らが主演した異色のミステリアス西部劇。陽炎の中から馬に跨がり現れた謎の男は、いいがかりを付けた男どもを目にも留まらぬ早業で撃ち殺しその町ラーゴに居着く。その頃、以前逮捕した無法者たちが刑期を終え、ラーゴに仕返しにくる事を知っていた町の保安官は、その男の腕前を見込んで用心棒を頼む。その役を引き受けた男は町の男どもに射撃訓練をさせるが、町中を赤いペンキで塗らせたり、野外パーティの準備をさせたりと奇妙な行動も取って行く。そしていよいよ無法者たちが町になだれ込んでくるのだが……。
元々は軍事用ロボットだが、落雷によるショート・サーキット(回路不良)で感情を持ってしまったナンバー・ファイブ。以前は工場から逃げ出す騒動を起こしたが、今や人間たちにもなじんでジョニー5というニックネームで呼ばれる。NYでジョニー5のおもちゃを作って売っているベンはデパートで働くサンディの依頼を受け、おもちゃをひと月で1000体作ることに。そこに本物のジョニー5が現われ、おもちゃ作りを手伝うことに。
舞台は1878年のニューメキシコ。タンストールの牧場には若き日のビリー・ザ・キッドと5人の若者たちがいた。80年代当時の若手スターが結集し、“ネオ西部劇”と呼ばれた、クリストファー・ケイン監督作品。

When his confrontation with the star takes a violent turn the ex-con has to go back on the run, but he finds an unexpected ally in a shrewd background singer with a plan to turn the tables in his favor.
A man tricked into enlisting in the Confederate army is later thrown into a hellish stockade on desertion charges. He eventually breaks out of the prison camp, reunites with his old partner and sets out to kill the man who was responsible for his being in the camp in the first place. However, after accidentally killing a Confederate officer, he finds himself pursued by a gang of vicious bounty hunters intent on collecting the reward put up by the dead officer's widow.
