A struggling actor gets a holiday season job as a Christmas character in a plush suit to promote the hottest toy of the year, Pooka; he slowly develops two personalities—one when he's in the suit and one that's outside it.

Lonely college freshman Alex has closed himself off from his peers, who all appear to have this whole "college thing" figured out. Set in a small farming community in mid Wales, a place where Koppel's parents - both refugees - found a home. This is a landscape and population that is changing rapidly as small scale agriculture is disappearing and the generation who inhabited a pre-mechanised world is dying out. Much influenced by his conversations with the writer Peter Handke, the film maker leads us on a poetic and profound journey into a world of endings and beginnings; a world of stuffed owls, sheep and fire.

A young boy in the suburbs is haunted by his sins when trying to contribute to his local community.

A reporter doing a story on taxidermy discovers an odd older couple that he becomes convinced are ex-Nazi's. The chief item leading to this belief is an odd puppet theater the couple operate in their basement that re-creates the Nazi era using stuffed creatures.

In "A Pond Full of Pigs", Rags causes a disaster when he mistreats someone's Pig Horn, and in "Patches' Present", Patches' birthday surprise is ruined until the gang runs into a room of elephants.
