The Intimate (2005)

Juliet Forrest is convinced that the reported death of her father in a mountain car crash was no accident. Her father was a prominent cheese scientist working on a secret recipe. To prove it was murder, she enlists the services of private eye Rigby Reardon. He finds a slip of paper containing a list of people who are 'The Friends and Enemies of Carlotta'.

女子大生・中村由美（柴咲コウ）の友人でもある岡崎陽子や河合ケンジが、謎の死の予告電話によって次々と不可解な死亡を遂げていく。その死の予告電話の内容は、なぜか未来からの発信時刻で来ており、死ぬ瞬間の声や映像、画像が送られてきてその未来の時刻に差し掛かったとき、その通りに死んでしまうのである。 新たに死の予告電話を受けた小学校からの幼馴染みの友人・小西なつみ（吹石一恵）を救うため、由美は謎の男・山下弘（堤真一）の協力を得て事件の真相を追うが、彼女も今までと同様に予告通り、テレビの生放送中に悲惨な死を遂げてしまう。そしてその直後、遂に由美自身が「死の予告電話」を受けてしまう。

1994年10月、モンゴメリー大学映画学科に所属する3人の大学生がドキュメンタリー映画製作のためにメリーランド州ブラック・ヒルズの森に分け入った。その土地に今なお残る伝説の魔女“ブレア・ウィッチ”をテーマにしていたのだ。だが3人はそのまま消息を絶つ。手掛かりが発見されないままやがて捜索は打ち切られた。しかし事件から1年後、彼らが撮影したものと思われるフィルムとビデオが森の中で発見される……。

某テレビ局のディレクターである浅川玲子は、都市伝説にまつわる取材の中で、見た者を1週間後に死に至らしめる「呪いのビデオ」に関わったと噂される男女が、数日前に奇怪な死を遂げた自分の姪、大石智子と同日の同時刻に死亡していることに気づく。調査を進めた玲子は、同時に死んだ智子たち4人の間には交友関係があり、彼らが1週間前に伊豆の貸し別荘「伊豆パシフィックランド」に宿泊していたこと、そしてその際に撮影されたフィルム写真上の4人の顔が不気味に歪んでいることに着目する。彼らの死の謎を突きとめようとして問題の貸し別荘を訪れた玲子は、そこで貸出されていた不審なビデオの映像を見てしまい、直後に不気味な無言電話を受け取る。これを境に、玲子自身の写真もまた死んだ4人と同様に歪んだ顔で写るようになってしまう。

In a rundown area of Buenos Aires, at the dawn of the 1980s, Adrian LeDuc owns both a struggling movie theater and a shabby apartment building filled with eccentric, squabbling tenants. D・クローンネンバーグがセックスをテーマに取り上げ、カンヌ映画祭でその評価が賛否真っ二つに別れた問題作。CFプロデューサーのジェームス・バラードと妻のキャサリンはある日、出張で空港へ向かう途中ハイウェイ上で正面衝突事故を起こす。相手のドライバーは死亡。助手席に乗っていた女性ヘレンはジェームスと共に病院に担ぎ込まれる。やがて回復した2人だったが、彼らは事故の衝撃を通して思わぬ性的興奮を感じていた。そんな中、事故の体験により新しいエクスタシーを開拓した人々がいる事を知った彼らは、次第にその世界にのめり込んでゆく……。

Working men and women leave through the main gate of the Lumière factory in Lyon, France. Filmed on 22 March 1895, it is often referred to as the first real motion picture ever made, although Louis Le Prince's 1888 Roundhay Garden Scene pre-dated it by seven years. Three separate versions of this film exist, which differ from one another in numerous ways. The first version features a carriage drawn by one horse, while in the second version the carriage is drawn by two horses, and there is no carriage at all in the third version. The clothing style is also different between the three versions, demonstrating the different seasons in which each was filmed. This film was made in the 35 mm format with an aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and at a speed of 16 frames per second. At that rate, the 17 meters of film length provided a duration of 46 seconds, holding a total of 800 frames.
