ハーヴァード大学出のエリートFBI捜査官のジョニー・ユタ（キアヌ・リーブス）は、ロサンゼルスのベニス･ビーチで続発する銀行強盗の調査をベテラン刑事のパパス（ゲイリー・ビジー）とともに任される。犯行は歴代大統領の覆面[3]を被り、わずか一分半で盗みを終えるプロフェッショナルによるものだった。二人は事件の場所から犯人をサーファーであると推測し、捜査を開始する。 彼は早速、潜入捜査のためサーファーに成りすまし、強盗団のリーダーであるボディ（パトリック・スウェイジ）と女性サーファーのタイラー[4]（ロリ・ペティ）と出会う。ボディは、ジョニーが大学生時代にフットボールのクォーターバックとして活躍していたのを知っており、そのこともあってジョニーはすんなりとサーファーグループと浜辺でのフットボールやサーフィンで絆を深め合っていくことができた。そしてタイラーとも恋人同士の関係になっていくのだった。 ある日パパスとジョニーは同じ車に乗っていた。パパスが「何か食い物を買ってこよう」とファーストフード店へと向かう。そしてその瞬間にジョニーは覆面の強盗集団の犯行を目撃する。すぐさま車で後を追うジョニーだったが、間一髪のところで逃げられてしまう。 追ってきた捜査官がジョニーであることを確認したボディはタイラーを拉致。ジョニーをスカイダイビングに誘いスカイダイビング後に、タイラーの命と引き換えにジョニーに銀行強盗に協力するよう脅迫する。

Surf's Up is an animated feature that goes behind the scenes of the high-octane world of competitive penguin surfing. The film profiles Cody Maverick, an up-and-coming surfer as he enters his first pro competition.

A young man, whose only possession is a motorcycle, spends his time riding around the city looking for empty apartments. After finding one, he hangs out for a while, fixing himself something to eat, washing laundry or making small repairs in return. He always tries to leave before the owners get back but in one ostensibly empty mansion he meets the abused wife of a rich man and she escapes with him.

The film is very political, with lots of political jokes/innuendos which only Germans will understand. One is left feeling what a total obscenity that stupid Wall was, dividing one people for 30 years (1-2 Generations) simply by the coincidence on where you just happen to be in the early morning on the 13th August 1961.

Main character of this movie is Rene Rupnik, a former math teacher. He is forty years old and lives together with his mother in a desolate block of flats. Ever since his early youth women with big breasts have fascinated him, because they symbolise a kind of earth mother to him. Filmmaker Ulrich Seidl let the former teacher speak freely about his obsessions and desires, intercutting his monologues with scenes from the protagonist's day-to-day life.
