ゾンビ映画の元祖「ナイト・オブ・ザ・リビング・デッド／ゾンビの誕生」で描かれた事が実際にあったという前提で作られた間接的な続編。ロスにある科学資料庫の地下で発見された謎のタンク。そこから吹き出した特殊なガスには死者を蘇らせる作用があった……。

アジアの鷹ジャッキーのもとへ新たな仕事の依頼が届いた。それはサハラ砂漠に隠されたヒトラーの金塊を探し出すというものであった。ジャッキーは早速、手掛かりを求めて当時ナチスの副官であった男の屋敷へ忍び込むが、無人と思われた家には副官の孫娘にあたるエルサが住んでいた。今回の任務のパートナーとして選ばれた歴史家のエイダと祖父の失踪の謎を解きたいと願うエルサを連れていく。
