常夏の地・ジャマイカから無謀にもボブスレーチームを組んで、88年カルガリー冬季オリンピックに参戦した男たちの実話を描いたスポ根コメディ。幼い頃から100m走でオリンピックを目指していた主人公が選考会で転倒の巻き添えを食い、出場不可能になってしまう。それでもオリンピック出場の夢を見る彼は冬季五輪のボブスレー競技のことを知り、幼なじみのお調子者や転倒事故で同じく夢破れた2人を巻き込んで、過去に2度金メダルを取ったアメリカ人選手をコーチに招いて練習を開始するのだった……。
