雪が降りしきる中で馬を失った賞金稼ぎマーキスは、同業であるジョンと彼が捕らえたデイジーを乗せた駅馬車に同乗する。途中で保安官を名乗るクリスを拾った馬車は、猛吹雪から避難するためにミニーの紳士洋品店へ。メキシコ人の店番ボブや怪しげな絞首刑執行人オズワルドなどの存在にジョンが強い警戒心を抱く中で事件が起こる。
