The rebellious socialist Knut is subjected to a mental evaluation after he assaults a stranger on the street. Psychologist looking track Knuts aggression in childhood experiences while Knut himself sees them as a natural reaction to the class society's oppression.
休暇を過ごす為、アッシュは恋人シェリルと妹や友人と共に森深くたたずむ別荘にやって来る。
暖炉を囲みながら夜更けまで楽しく過ごす若者たち。退屈しのぎに別荘の地下室に入りそこで見つけた
古いテープレコーダーを再生すると、そこからはかつて別荘の住人だった学者の古文書解読の経緯を
伝える音声が流れてくる。古文書の呪文の一節を朗読するその音声は唱えてはならない古代の死霊を
呼び出す禁句であった。薄気味の悪いテープの内容にナーバスになるアッシュの妹だったが、次の瞬間
愛らしい妹は恐ろしい形相になり、宙に浮かびながら死霊を呼び覚ました全員を皆殺しにすると吐き捨て
襲いかかってくる。死霊にとりつかれた妹をいさめるにはもはや地下室に閉じ込めるしかなく、その間
アッシュはテープから流れていた死霊から逃れる方法を思い出していた。その方法とはとりつかれた者
の体をバラバラに裂くしかないというものであった・・。思い悩むアッシュ達をあざ笑うように死霊達
は仲間に次々と憑依してゆく。
スタンフォード大学心理学部ではある実験をするため、被験者となってくれる男性を公募した。集まった20名ほどの被験者は無作為に「看守役」と「囚人役」に分けられ、学内に設けられた模擬刑務所に収容された。初めはそれぞれの役を演じるだけの簡単なアルバイトと誰もが考えていた。しかし、実験が進むうち、「看守役」の攻撃的な振る舞いはどんどんエスカレートしていく。それに対して、「囚人役」は卑屈に服従するのみで、まったく抗議できなくなっていく。いつしか、模擬刑務所内は単なる実験の枠組みを越えて、もはや誰にも制御不能の状態に陥っていく……。

Bud Spencer plays Banana Joe, a brawny yet friendly man who lives in a small rainforest village called Amantido with a huge number of his own children and regularly delivers bananas to a South American river port (hence his name). Of course, Joe (in typical direct-approach manner) evicts the goons, who promptly return to their boss. Torsillo finds out that Joe is trading bananas without a license and decides to exploit it. Upon his next delivery, Joe is apprehended by the police and given the choice of either acquiring a legal license or getting his boat taken away and himself arrested for illegal shipment. Joe travels to the nearest city, which to him is a new world, as he grew up in the rainforest.
