人間にペットとして飼われているが、TV番組のヒーローに憧れるカメレオン。車で飼い主と移動中に事故に遭い、入っていた水槽ごと砂漠に放り出されてしまう。初めて広い世界に出たカメレオンは途方に暮れるが、寂れた荒野の町“ダートタウン”にさまよい着く。酒場で町の住人たちにランゴと名乗ったカメレオンは、でたらめな武勇伝を語った結果、町の保安官に任命されてしまう。その頃、町は深刻な水不足に見舞われていた。

A group of people find themselves trapped in the backwoods of West Virginia, fighting for their lives against a group of vicious and horribly disfigured inbred cannibals.

Open on gorgeous swamplands of the Atchafalaya Basin in the summer. Lots of beautiful teens are at the beach the weekend before Gator Fest. That night an animal smuggling deal goes wrong and a large sea creature escapes into a swampy backwoods river. At the McDaniel's "Gator Shack" restaurant, a local, Jackson is drunk, and gets mangled to bits. The town sheriff blames the carnage on the McDaniel's "escaped" pack of gators and tries hauling them off to jail. Rachel McDaniel, head of the family, claims to have seen the fin of a shark! アメリカ各地で強盗殺人を繰り広げたゲッコー兄弟は、警察の追及を振り切るべく、メキシコを目指して逃亡を続けている。牧師を辞めて放浪の旅をしていたフラーとその一家は、たまたま立ち寄ったモーテルでゲッコー兄弟に誘拐され、国境を突破するための隠れ蓑に利用される。メキシコに到着した一行は、兄弟が現地の組織の使者と落ち合う予定のナイトクラブ「ティッティー・ツイスター」で一夜を過ごすことになるが、そこは吸血鬼の巣窟と化していた。かくして、夕暮れから夜明けまでの戦いが始まる。

After failing to kill stubborn survivor Laurie and taking a bullet or six from former psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis, Michael Myers has followed Laurie to the Haddonfield Memorial Hospital, where she's been admitted for Myers' attempt on her life. The apparently comatose Michael Myers is being transferred from one hospital to another, but he wakes up when the ambulance crew talk about his surviving niece, Jamie.
