12世紀末、ロビンは十字軍の兵士としてフランスでの戦闘に加わっていた。ある日、イングランドの騎士ロバートの暗殺現場に居合わせた彼はその遺言を受け、ロバートの父に遺品の剣を届けると約束する。やがてノッティンガムの地を踏んだロビンは、ロバートの身代わり役を頼まれる。

何の苦労も知らずに穏やかに暮らしていた領主のロビン・ロクスリーは、十字軍に召集されて戦地へ赴く。しかし4年後に帰国すると、自分の戦死届が出され、領地も財産も没収されていた。領民や恋人を追放されたロビンは、海を渡って潜入してきた敵の狙撃手ジョンの導きを得て領主に返り咲く。国を思うままに動かそうとする長官のもとや教会の内部に入り込みつつ、ロビンは頭巾（フッド）で顔を隠し、領民から搾取した金を盗んでは人々に還元。教会が抱える秘密にも迫っていく。やがて彼は《フッド》と呼ばれて民心を集めるが、脅威を感じた教会は非情な先鋭部隊を送り込んでくる。

Iron Monkey is a Hong Kong variation of Robin Hood. Corrupt officials of a Chinese village are robbed by a masked bandit known as "Iron Monkey", named after a benevolent deity. Young Robin Hood, in love with Maid Marian, enters an archery contest with his father at the King's palace. On the way home his father is murdered by henchmen of Prince John. After selling his soul to a sorceress Robin is killed in battle. Distraught over these horrific turn of events Marian and Little John attempt to resuscitate Robin and his Merry Men. In doing so they inadvertently have turned the one-time heroes into the living dead and worse, the ghostly reincarnations are now hunting down Marian and Little John. So the pair attempt to seek out a new potion that will free these tormented souls from their demonic possession.

Roberta is a low-budget movie director dealing with numerous problems on the set of her current production. When she is accidently hit on the head, she is knocked unconscious and dreams of living in Robin Hood's Sherwood Forest.

Amid big-budget medieval pageantry, King Richard goes on the Crusades leaving his brother Prince John as regent, who promptly emerges as a cruel, grasping, treacherous tyrant. Apprised of England's peril by message from his lady-love Marian, the dashing Earl of Huntingdon endangers his life and honor by returning to oppose John, but finds himself and his friends outlawed, with Marian apparently dead. Enter Robin Hood, acrobatic champion of the oppressed, laboring to set things right through swashbuckling feats and cliffhanging perils!
