『ゴーストワールド』に続き、全米の賞レースを席巻したインディーズ映画。米国独立系映画の良心とも言えるテッド・ホープが制作だから、つまらないはずがないのだが、これがデビューとなる夫婦監督も記憶にとどめたい。
