The Road of Life (1956)

初老の男ウィルはホテルの一室で、過去に犯した妻殺しの顛末を書き記していく。1922年。ウィルは妻アルレットや14歳の息子ヘンリーと農場を営んでいた。しかし田舎暮らしを嫌うアルレットは、自身が権利を持つ農場の土地を売り払って都会に引っ越したいと言い出す。農場を離れたくないウィルは、強引に土地を売り出そうとするアルレットの殺害を決意。同じく都会行きを嫌がるヘンリーを説得して片棒を担がせ、計画を実行に移すが……。

The Judge (Mait Malmsten) is a man who represents strict rules and laws in the courtroom. However, his own personal life is an absolute mess.
