90歳になろうとするアール・ストーン（クリント・イーストウッド）は金もなく、ないがしろにした家族からも見放され、孤独な日々を送っていた。ある日、男から「車の運転さえすれば金をやる」と話を持ちかけられる。なんなく仕事をこなすが、それはメキシコ犯罪組織によるドラッグの運び屋。気ままな安全運転で大量のドラッグを運び出すが、麻薬取締局の捜査官（ブラッドリー・クーパー）の手が迫る……。果たして男は、逃げ切れるのか──！？
