The Eight Immortals (1971)

At the Café des Poètes in Paris, a fight breaks out between the poet Orphée and a group of resentful upstarts. A rival poet, Cègeste, is killed, and a mysterious princess insists on taking Orpheus and the body away in her Rolls-Royce. Orphée soon finds himself in the underworld, where the Princess announces that she is, in fact, Death. Orpheus escapes in the car back to the land of the living, only to become obsessed with the car radio.

The young teacher Marelle goes in search of her husband who mysteriously disappeared while attending the funeral of a childhood friend.

ニューヨークのコロンビア大学で超常現象や幽霊・霊体の研究を行っていたピーター・ヴェンクマン博士ら冴えない研究者3人。ある日、一方的に研究費を打ち切られたことをきっかけに借金に借金を重ね、科学的に超常現象全般を扱い幽霊退治を行う会社「ゴーストバスターズ」を開業。当初は資金もなく依頼もゼロに近かったが、とあるホテルでの幽霊退治をきっかけにビジネスは大当たり、メディアや行政からも注目視される。

紀元前12世紀。繁栄を極めた都市国家トロイとギリシャの強国スパルタとの戦いが和平を迎えようとしていた。だがトロイの王子パリスがスパルタ王メネラウスの妃ヘレンと恋に落ちたことから、両国間の関係は再び悪化。王妃を奪われ激怒するメネラウスのもと、ギリシャは最強の戦士アキレス率いる大船団をトロイに差し向ける。一方トロイは、パリスの兄ヘクトルを指揮官にギリシャ軍を迎え撃つ。

モンゴルの草原に住む遊牧民一家の長女ナンサ（ナンサル・バットチュルーン）は、ある日子犬と出会い「ツォーホル」と名づけてかわいがる。しかし父親に飼うことを反対されてしまう。

破壊神からニューヨークを救った彼らだったが、破壊した建物などの賠償金を市と州より請求された上、数々の違法行為の責任を押し付けられ「ゴーストバスターズ」社は破産してしまい、依頼もぱったりと来なくなった。市民も彼らと超常現象を忘れ去り、4人組もそれぞれ別の道を歩んでいた。

A man and his son take an allegorical stroll through life with a talking bird that spouts social and political philosophy.

A young man, Ryan, suffering from a disability, wishes to join the other kids from his schools football team. During an initiation rite, Ryan is swept away through a whirlpool to the land of Tao. There he is hunted by the evil Lord Komodo, who desires the boy as a key to enter the real world. Ryan is rescued by the protectors of Tao, five humanoid kangaroos, each embued with the five elements and virtues. Ryan learns his valuable lesson while saving the land of Tao.

It is an adaptation of the Greek tragedy Medea from Euripides, a version where the Gods willing and intervations are absent. Medea is the tragic character that after helping Jason in the Voyage of the Argonauts (myth says that she has even sacrificed her own brother for Jason's success), she gets from him only betrayal, as he arranges to marry the King's of Corinth daughter. The king decides to exile Medea, as she is a danger for his daughter happiness, but Medea asks from him just a day… before she goes outside the borders. That day Medea gets her revenge.

He manages to keep them (as well as his nephew and niece) prisoners even after his death, through a binding testament. As Jan, the nephew, (Carrière) unravels the mystery, he discovers that he cannot escape the house because Malpertuis is far more significant than he was led to believe.
