A story of Tomasz Komenda - a man, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison, for a crime he did not commit.

1939年、ポーランド南部の都市クラクフにドイツ軍が侵攻した。ドイツ人実業家のオスカー・シンドラーは、一旗揚げようとこの街にやって来た。彼は金にものを言わせて巧みに軍の幹部たちに取り入り、ユダヤ人の所有していた工場を払い下げてもらう。ユダヤ人会計士のイツァーク・シュテルンをパートナーに選んだシンドラーは、軍用ホーロー容器の事業を始める。41年3月、ユダヤ人たちは壁に囲まれたゲットー（居住区）に住むことを義務づけられる。シュテルンの活躍で、ゲットーのユダヤ人たちが無償の労働力として、シンドラーの工場に続々と集められ事業はたちまち軌道に乗る。

ナチスのワルシャワ侵攻を目の当たりにし、死の収容所送りを奇跡的に逃れたシュピルマンは、ゲットーの廃墟に身を隠すことで第二次世界大戦を生き延びる。

Set in 1952, the story follows events around the "Peace Run", a propaganda 3-day marathon for peace. The winner is to be presented with a new motorcycle by the country's president. Chief organizer is a ruthless manipulator who will stop at nothing to make sure that the right man wins. There are two runners, Budny and Stolar, who are participating in the race for different reasons.

An American-born Jewish adolescent, Hannah Stern is uninterested in the culture, faith and customs of her relatives. However, she begins to revaluate her heritage when she has a supernatural experience that transports her back to a Nazi death camp in 1941. There she meets a young girl named Rivkah, a fellow captive in the camp. As Rivkah and Hannah struggle to survive in the face of daily atrocities, they form an unbreakable bond.

Every day at 6 pm a serial killer kills another person. Police officer Helena Rus thinks the killings are done by one man only and decides to reveal the killer's identity by getting back in 18th century history of the city.
