Bullets for Rustlers (1940)

When teacher Randall Thomasson is killed during a carjacking, an unexpected visitor shows up at his funeral - his estranged brother, Karl Thomasson. An ex-Green Beret turned mercenary, Karl signs on as a new substitute teacher in order to investigate Randall's murder.

Having recently witnessed the horrific results of a top secret project to bring the dead back to life, a distraught teenager performs the operation on his girlfriend after she's killed in a motorcycle accident.

CIAの異端児諜報（ちょうほう）員ワックス（ジョン・トラヴォルタ）とコンビを組んだことから、地味な諜報（ちょうほう）活動の日々が一転、危険な麻薬捜査に乗り出すこととなった駐仏アメリカ大使館員のリース（ジョナサン・リス・マイヤーズ）。捜査を続けるうちに、二人は爆弾テロリストによるアメリカ政府要人暗殺計画を突きとめる。

香港の刑事クーンはブロンクス在住の叔父ビルの結婚式に訪れた。叔父は経営しているスーパーを売りに出し、エレインという女性が買い取った。クーンは叔父の新婚旅行中、叔父のアパートを借りることになったが周辺には暴走族が徘徊していた。そんなある日、店内で暴走族が万引きをし、注意した店員が殴られるのを見たクーンが撃退したが彼らから目を付けられることになる。

刑務所で意気投合したポット、チンケ、ハンサム、モジャ、マジメの5人は出所後に社会復帰しようと清掃会社を始めたが仕事のわりに儲からない。そこで労働の息抜きとして清掃を行った屋敷主催のパーティーに潜り込み、ついでに金持ち達と会って顧客の開拓を目論んだが、それはマフィアの主催するパーティーだった。しかもマフィアが闇取引で用意した偽札入りアタッシュケースを盗んだと勘違いされてモジャの美人の妹を人質に取られてしまう。

Based on the true life experiences of poet Jimmy Santiago Baca, the film focuses on half-brothers Paco and Cruz, and their bi-racial cousin Miklo. It opens in 1972, as the three are members of an East L.A. gang known as the "Vatos Locos", and the story focuses on how a violent crime and the influence of narcotics alter their lives. Miklo is incarcerated and sent to San Quentin, where he makes a "home" for himself. Cruz becomes an exceptional artist, but a heroin addiction overcomes him with tragic results. Paco becomes a cop and an enemy to his "carnal", Miklo.

A tough-on-crime street cop must protect the only surviving witness to a strange murderous cult with far reaching plans.
