ギリシャの美しいリゾート地、カロカイリ島。小さなホテルを営む母親ドナのもとで育ったひとり娘ソフィに恋人スカイと結婚する日が近づく。自分の父親を知らないソフィはこの機に乗じ、自分の父親である可能性が高い男性3人、建築家のサム、銀行マンのハリー、冒険家のビルに、自分の結婚式に出席してほしいと手紙を出す。そしてそれを読んだサムたち3人がカロカイリ島を訪れる。

ギリシャのカロカイリ島。ホテルのオーナー、ドナの娘ソフィの結婚式に、誰がソフィの父親か分からない3人の男性が呼ばれて騒動になったが、その後、ドナは他界してしまい、その遺志を継いだソフィがホテルを再オープンさせる日が近づく。一方、かつてドナは米国のハーバード大を卒業した後、世界を見ようと海外旅行へ。パリ経由でカロカイリ島に向かうがその道中で青年2人、ハリーとビルと出会い、島でサムと恋に落ちるが……。
