マンハッタンの高級レストランで料理長を務めるケイト（キャサリン・ゼタ・ジョーンズ）は、ある日、姉を交通事故で失い、残されためいのゾーイ（アビゲイル・ブレスリン）を引き取ることに。一方、仕事場には、ケイトとは正反対の性格の陽気な副料理長ニック（アーロン・エッカート）が新たに雇われる。
結婚の機会をことごとく逃していた32歳の英国人男性チャールズは、彼と同様に結婚とは縁のない仲間たちとその寂しさを分かち合っていたが、そんな彼に大きな変化をもたらしたのは、花婿の付添い人で参加した結婚式での米国人女性キャリーとの偶然の出会いだった。真摯なアプローチが功を奏してベッドを共にしながらも、その場をアッサリと分かれてしまった事に未練を残していたチャールズは、その数ヵ月後の結婚式で再会したキャリーの姿に心を弾ませるのだがーー

Luise, called Pünktchen, and Anton are closest of friends. Being the daughter of a wealthy surgeon, young Pünktchen lives in a great house. Her mother, who always travels through the world more for public relation reasons than for the social tasks she pretends to fulfill, is never available to her as a mother. そんな不安定なデビッドのまえに突然死んだはずのデビッドが、野獣にかみ殺されたままの無残な姿で現れこう警告する。
「俺たちを襲ったのは狼男だった。狼男に殺されると魂は呪われ永遠にさまよい続ける。お前は狼男の血を継いだ。呪いの系譜が立たれないと殺されたものは解放されない。お前は今すぐ死ぬべきだ」
警告を信じないで無視し続けるデビッドであったが、満月の夜、デビッドは耐え難い痛みとともに恐ろしい獣の姿に変貌し新たな狼男の犠牲者を作り始めるのだった。
A wealthy landlord who lives a decadent life with his wife and son.
