19世紀のフランス、ブルターニュ地方。身寄りの無い子どもたちを育てる養護施設で暮らす11歳の少女フェリシーは、オペラ座のバレリーナになることを夢見ていた。そんなある日、彼女は発明家を夢見る親友ヴィクターとともに施設を抜け出し、夢を叶えるため花の都パリへと向かう。オペラ座で掃除係として働くオデットと出会い、彼女の助手として働きだしたフェリシーは、あることからバレエ学校に潜り込むことに成功する。
