シノプシス
強盗に殺された父の死に責任を感じ、立ち直れずにいた青年トビー。彼は無人島で3泊を過ごす更生プログラムに参加する。それはサバイバルを通じて自分を見つめ直し、生きる意志を取り戻すというものだったが、程なく、彼は無人のはずの島でひとりの少女と遭遇する。その少女マデリンは、母親によって半ば閉じ込められるようにこの島に住まわされているらしい。トビーは迎えが来次第彼女を連れて島を出ようとする。
恐るべきあの出来事から４年。悪魔祓いで救われたリーガンはすっかり平穏な生活を取り戻したかに見えた。だがある日、彼女の中にまだ悪魔が棲みついていることが判明する。一方、教会当局から派遣されたラモント神父は、メリン神父の行いの真偽を含め４年前の事件の調査を開始。そしてリーガンに会った彼は、彼女の記憶から、メリンが昔アフリカで少年の悪魔祓いを行なったことを突き止める。
