ロサンゼルスで娘と暮らす元FBI特別捜査官のルーク・ホブスと、ロンドンで優雅な生活を送る元MI6エージェントのデッカード・ショウ。彼らもとに消息不明となったMI6の女性エージェント、ハッティの保護を求める政府の協力要請が入る。彼女は新型ウイルス兵器をテロ組織から奪還したが組織を率い肉体改造が施されたブリクストンに襲われ消息を絶った。また、彼女はショウの妹である。ホブスとショウは協力を拒否するがウイルス兵器回収のため仕方なく手を組む事になる。
