シノプシス
Mek, Sooraya the Snake Haired Girl’s son, falls into a love triangle against his step brother Sok to win the heart of Chan, the daughter of a wealthy businessman. When he loses Chan to Sok, Mek transforms into a snake and impregnates Chan but Sok finds out and eventually fatally stabs Chan. Out of her womb burst hundreds of baby snakes that Mek, after killing Sok, raises as his babies thanks to a magic ring that transforms back into a human.
Kwan discovers her husband is married to another woman plus has a child with her. In retaliation she becomes romantically involved with a deadly snake (we don't know quite how that works since we haven't seen this) and a series of serpent deaths soon follow.
Mutant snakes survived a terrorist attack on a government laboratory, and they now threaten the town of Santa Mira Springs, California. Seismic activity has brought snakes to the surface, where residents are being bitten. Victims can transmit the virus to healthy persons. The military puts the town under quarantine. Local physicians try to control the epidemic, while the military is primarily concerned with keeping the virus a secret.
A gigantic serpent is captured on a remote island and shipped to an American college for experimentation.
『白蛇:縁起』は中国の四大民間説話の一つ『白蛇伝』の前世の話。 晩唐の時代、国師が民間人に蛇を大量に捕獲させていた。 白蛇の妖怪「白」(見た目は人間の美少女）が国師を刺殺しようとしたが失敗。 少女は逃亡の末、記憶をなくしてしまったが捕蛇村の少年「宣」に救われる。 「白」の記憶を取り戻すため二人は冒険の旅に出る。 その旅の中で二人は恋に落ちるが、少女が白蛇の妖怪ということも明らかになってしまう。 一方、国師と蛇族との間に激しい戦いが始まろうとしていた。二人の恋に大きな試練が待ち受ける。
