The Firebird (1984)

エドワードは、発明家の博士によって生み出された人造人間。だが、完成直前に博士が急死してしまった為、彼は両手がハサミのままこの世に残されてしまう。その後、ゴースト屋敷のような丘の上の家で、顔が傷だらけで孤独な日々を送っていた彼の元にある日、化粧品のセールス・ウーマンのペグが訪ねて来た。心優しい彼女は、そんな彼の姿に同情し、自分の家に連れて帰る。そうして家の中へ通された彼は、写真に写っているペグの娘キムに心奪われ、彼女に恋してしまう。

Ronya lives happily in her father's castle until she comes across a new playmate, Birk, in the nearby dark forest. The two explore the wilderness, braving dangerous Witchbirds and Rump-Gnomes. But when their families find out Birk and Ronja have been playing together, they forbid them to see each other again. Indeed, their fathers are competing robber chieftains and bitter enemies. Now the two spunky children must try to tear down the barriers that have kept their families apart for so long.

第二次世界大戦下のイギリス。ペベンシー家の4人の兄妹-ピーター、スーザン、エドマンド、ルーシーは、ロンドンの空襲を逃れて田舎に住むカーク教授に預けられる。古めかしく広大な教授の屋敷は、子供たちにとって最高の探検場所。好奇心旺盛な末っ子のルーシーは、“かくれんぼ”をしているうちに、空き部屋で大きな古い衣装だんすをみつける。見えない力に導かれるかのように衣装だんすに入り、毛皮のコートを押しのけて奥に進むといつしかルーシーは雪に覆われた真夜中の森に立っていた。

シュレックは他の人からは怖がられている怪物である。その外見とは裏腹に本質は心の優しい彼は、人里離れた沼地で一人気楽に暮らしていた。ある日、シュレックは森の中でお調子者でおしゃべりなロバのドンキーと出会う。シュレックに怯えて逃げた兵達を見てシュレックが自分を救ってくれたと思い込み嫌がるシュレックについて行く。ドンキーのおしゃべりにうんざりしたシュレックが戻ってみると、彼の沼地には妖精やおとぎ話の主人公達が押し寄せてきていた。

旅の末、フィオナの呪いを解き、無事に結婚したシュレックとフィオナ。幸せな日々を送っていたが、ある日フィオナの両親から、結婚の祝いを行うので来る様にとの手紙が届く。嫌われるに決まっていると最初は渋っていたシュレックだが、同じく結婚したドラゴンと近頃気まずいというドンキーと共に仕方なくフィオナの故郷「遙か彼方の王国」に旅立ち、到着するもシュレックの予想通り、シュレックや怪物姿のフィオナを見た両親はびっくりし、怪物という偏見と考えが合わないことでシュレックと国王は喧嘩をしてしまう。

Betty, while reading a book of Mother Goose stories, wishes she could visit such a wonderful place. Betty's wish is granted when Mother Goose appears, and gives her a tour of Mother Goose Land. Betty has a wonderful time until Little Miss Muffet's spider chases her, with lecherous ends in mind. All of the characters come to Betty's rescue. Betty wakes up in bed with all the fairy tale characters surrounding her.
