When food stylist Holly returns home for Christmas, she learns that the elderly owner of her favorite childhood bakery is retiring and has started a contest to give the bakery away to whoever can recreate her famous 12 Days of Christmas recipes. When a local baker also enters the contest, the two adversaries end up cooking up something special together for the holidays.

An illiterate cook at a company cafeteria tries for the attention of a newly widowed woman. As they get to know one another, she discovers his inability to read. When he is fired, she takes on trying to teach him to read in her kitchen each night.

Wallace and Gromit open a bakery, accidentally getting tied up with a murder mystery in the process. But when Wallace falls in love, Gromit is left to solve the case by himself.

本編はお城に嫁いだシンデレラのその後が舞台となっており、シンデレラに魔法をかけた妖精のおばあさんがシンデレラの物語を聞かせていく。お城に嫁いだシンデレラが初めて取り仕切ることになった晩餐会の話、ねずみのジャックが人間に変身してさまざまな人間たちとの交流を描いた話、シンデレラのお姉さん・意地悪なアナスタシアが町のパン屋の主人に恋をしてしまう話の3本立てで展開される。そして話を聞かされたジャックやガスは、それらの話を本にしてシンデレラにプレゼントすることを思いつくのだった。
