YouTubeで恐怖動画を配信する人気チャンネル「ホラータイムズ」が一般からの参加者を募り、コンジアム精神病院への潜入を計画する。主宰者ハジュンを隊長とする7人の男女は、いくつものカメラやドローン、電磁検出器といった機材を現地に持ち込み、深夜0時に検索を開始。100万ページビューを目標に掲げるハジュンの演出も功を奏し、サイトへのアクセス数は順調に伸びていく。しかし院長室、シャワー室と浴室、実験室、集団治療室を探索するうちに、ハジュンの想定を超えた原因不明の怪奇現象が続発。やがて悪夢の迷宮と化した病院内を泣き叫んで逃げまどうはめになった隊員たちは、世にもおぞましい402号室の呪いの真実に触れることに…。
