地球や人類の文化ついての情報を電波に乗せて、宇宙人との交流を図ろうとしていたプロジェクト。それを宇宙人が受信したものの、彼らは人類からの宣戦布告だと勘違いしてしまう。「パックマン」「ギャラガ」「ディグダグ」「ドンキーコング」「スペースインベーダー」と、送られた情報からテレビゲームについて知った宇宙人たちはそれらに出てくるキャラクターに姿を変えて地球を侵攻し始める。
巨人が牛耳る世界。高さ50メートルの防壁に囲まれた街、シガンシナ地区に暮らす少年エレンはのどかな日々を過ごしていたが、ある日、巨人が壁を越えたことから運命が一変する。巨人によって母親を失ったエレンは復讐（ふくしゅう）を誓い訓練兵団に入団。やがて兵士となり戦いに身を投じていくが……。
兵士として巨人と戦うエレンは自らが巨人化し、審議の結果、調査兵団特別作戦班ことリヴァイ班への所属が決定する。壁外調査へ出発したエレンたちだったが、知性を持つ女型の巨人に襲撃される。多くの犠牲を払いながら、ついに女型の巨人を捕獲することに成功した調査兵団だったが……。
母親の命を奪った巨人をこの世から駆逐することを誓い、調査兵団の兵士として戦いに身を投じてきたエレン・イェーガーだったが、過酷な戦いの中で自身が巨人へと変貌してしまう。巨人の力を人類の勝利のために使うことを決めたエレンは、強敵である女型の巨人と戦い、辛くも勝利を収めるが、そんなエレンと人類にさらなる試練が訪れる。

Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko have been apprehended by the Demon Slayer Hashira, a group of extremely skilled swordfighters. Tanjiro undergoes trial for violating the Demon Slayer code, specifically smuggling Nezuko, a Demon, onto Mt. Natagumo. Tanjiro finds his family slaughtered and the lone survivor, his sister Nezuko Kamado, turned into a Demon. To his surprise, however, Nezuko still shows signs of human emotion and thought.
