They believe that Jerome, Jane's brother, can help them to solve the case. But Jane doesn't know where he is, or so she says. Corpse after corpse, Bernard will find out the truth. But will the truth help him?

原作者のモンキー・パンチは、当時放送されていたアニメに不満を持っていたため、アニメ化に反対していた。アニメ化の説得材料として13分弱のパイロットフィルムが製作された。この作品の出来のよさとリアルな描写に感動したモンキー・パンチはぜひアニメ化をお願いしたいとアニメ製作にOKを出した。
