法も秩序もない西部のある町。腹黒い知事は、黒人奴隷バートを保安官にして住民の不安を募らせ、彼らを町から追い出すことを企てる。だがバートは監獄の常連ジムと意気投合し、知事が送り込んだ無法者一味に立ち向かうのだった。

ホラー映画女優だった母を交通事故で亡くしたマックス。３年後、友人たちと母が出演していた映画を観に行くと、映画館で火災が発生。逃げ惑ううちに、いつしか映画の中に入り込んでしまう。そこで役を演じる母に会えて喜ぶマックス。だが殺人鬼も出現し、次々とシナリオ通りに登場人物が殺されてゆく。

新たに職探しをしていたシンディはある日、不気味な老婦人の世話をすることに。また一方、その隣に住むイケメンの男性トムが気になる存在となる。そんな中、突如として宇宙人が地球を襲撃、老婦人の家ではシンディの前に謎の少年が現われる。そして、不吉なメッセージを目にしたシンディは、その謎を解くため、友人ブレンダと共にまたしても不気味な村へ向かう。そこでも不可解な出来事に見舞われながら脱出したのも束の間、宇宙人に生け捕りにされてしまうシンディたちだが…。
