Ki-No-Ko (2001)

ローズとクリストファーは、娘・シャロンの奇妙な言動に悩んでいた。ローズは、しばしば情緒不安定に陥り、何かに取り憑かれたかのように「サイレントヒル…」と謎のうめき声を発する娘に心を痛め、サイレントヒルという街が実在することを知り、治療のためにシャロンを連れてそこを訪ねることにする。しかし、サイレントヒルは30年前の大火によって多数の人々が死亡した忌まわしい場所であり、今では誰も近付かない廃墟と化した街であった。途中、女児誘拐犯と勘違いされて女性警官に追われるものの、二人とも帰り道が突如切れ無くなった街に取り残され、シャロンも後部座席から消えており、捜索、他の住人への聞き取りなど進めていくが不思議な現象に巻き込まれてゆく。

8歳の誕生日を迎える少女ヘザーは『サイレントヒル』と言う街の悪夢に悩まされながら、父親ハリーと共に各地を転々とし逃げるような生活を続けてきた。 新しい学校への初登校の日、ヘザーは探偵を名乗る男ダグラスから「教団に居場所を教えてしまった。逃げろ。」と警告を受ける。直後にダグラスは殺され、ハリーも「サイレントヒルに来い」との血文字を残し行方不明となる。 ヘザーはハリーを助ける為、同じく転校生の少年ヴィンセントと共に呪われた街サイレントヒルへ向かうのだった。
