His Prehistoric Past (1914)

Disaster strikes when a train engineer is conspired against by enemies.

Wealthy diamond collector Larry Hanrahan is given the opportunity to assist the beautiful, jewel-bedecked woman he admires in a Broadway café when she and her guardian are attacked by robbers. Larry is invited to visit the grateful pair, Col. Paul Gascoyne and his ward Adrienne, at the colonel's laboratory, where he is introduced to Wintermute, a chemist who produces imitation diamonds. In return, Larry asks them to view his priceless diamond collection. Although he has fallen in love with Adrienne, Larry is forced to believe that she is a thief when he is robbed by a woman wearing Adrienne's scarf. Larry finds his jewels in Gascoyne's house, but before he can escape, a group of thugs overpowers him. Adrienne assists him in contacting the police, who arrive in time to capture Gascoyne and his gang. Badly wounded, the colonel confesses that Adrienne has been his innocent dupe, whereupon Larry happily takes her to his heart.

もうすぐヴァレンタインという季節。平凡な男ジョエルは、恋人クレメンタイン（クレム）と喧嘩をしてしまう。何とか仲直りしようとプレゼントを買って彼女の働く本屋に行くが、クレムは彼を知らないかのように扱い、目の前でほかの男といちゃつく始末。ジョエルはひどいショックを受ける。やがて彼はクレムが記憶を消す手術を受けたことを知る。苦しんだ末、ジョエルもクレムの記憶を消し去る手術を受けることを決心。手術を受けながら、ジョエルはクレムとの思い出をさまよい、やがて無意識下で手術に抵抗し始める。

20世紀のどこかの国。情報省はテロの容疑者「タトル」を「バトル」と打ち間違えてしまい、無関係なバトル氏を無理やり連行していく。それを一部始終見ていた上の階に住むトラック運転手のジルが抗議をするも、全く相手にされない。 一方、情報局に勤めるサムは、このミスをなんとかするために試行錯誤していた。近頃サムは、夢の中でナイトの格好をして、美女を助け出すというおかしな夢を見ていたが、情報省に抗議に来ていたジルがその美女にそっくりだということに気づく。 ある日、サムが家に帰るとダクトが故障しており、非合法のダクト修理屋と名乗るタトルが勝手に直してしまう。サムはまた夢の中でサムライの怪物と戦い、美女を救う夢を見る。サムはジルの正体を知るために断っていた昇格を望み、友人であったジャックの元を訪ねる。そして、様々な事柄が複雑に絡まりあっていく。

So after a little friendly persuasion, in which Hank's six-shooter was brought into prominence, the bar was effectively cleared of its patrons, despite the protests of the barkeeper, and the bully sat down to dispatch a few terse sentences to his tardy friend, upon the receipt of which, Julius, with the aid of Caleb, his old family servant, quickly packed his traveling bag and started on a little journey, which he wrote to H. When a gang of outlaws put Andy Clyde's ranch house under siege, daughter Alice Day recruits college heart throb Ralph Graves to save daddy.

Charlie and his friend Ambrose meet in a restaurant and accidentally leave with each other's coats. Charlie was going to pick up a baby bottle and Ambrose was going to mail a love letter that was in his coat pocket. Charlie's wife finds the letter and thinks he has a secret lover and Ambrose's wife believes he has an illegitimate child. Controversy arises in the park between Charlie and his wife and Ambrose and his wife. It is resolved at the end, but Charlie sparks another fight between the other couple by showing his friend's wife the love letter that was in his pocket.

Charlie is in charge of stage "props" and has trouble with actors' luggage and conflicts over who gets the star's dressing room. Once the dressing-room issue is resolved the next issue is getting everyone on stage with the correct backdrop. Backstage Charlie and an old man fight, often disrupting the on-stage performances. The audience also break into a fight, and a hose brought out behind the scenes ends up squirted over them.
