1944年、第二次大戦下のフランスで外科医として黙々と働く男。戦火の拡大にともない愛する妻と娘を娘の田舎へと疎開させるが、パルチザン狩りのドイツ軍小隊に娘は射殺、妻は焼き殺されてしまう。溢れそうになる血の涙と嗚咽をかみ殺しながら、怒りに震える男は単身で反撃、ドイツ軍を一人づつ処刑していく…。
