ダニエル少年とミヤギ老人が空手を通して友情を育む姿を描く「ベスト・キッド」シリーズの第2弾。今回は舞台をミヤギの故郷、沖縄に移してミヤギに復讐を目論むグループとの対立を描く。ミヤギのもとに父親の危篤を知らせる手紙が届いた。彼は弟子のダニエル（マッチオ）を連れて、故郷の沖縄に戻る。だがそこには、かつて同じ女性を愛したがために宿敵となった男が、復讐のために待ちかまえていた……。

動物と話ができるお医者さんとして有名になった、ドクター・ドリトルは大忙し。そこへ野生のビーバーからSOSが入った。たくさんの動物の住み処である森が破壊されそうだという。森の伐採をやめさせるには、絶滅寸前品種の熊の繁殖地であることを証明しなければならない。そこで、ただ一頭残った野生のメス熊のお婿さん候補を探すのだが、見つかったのは、魚とりも満足にできないサーカス育ちの曲芸熊アーチ―だった。森と動物たちを救うため、何とか2頭の熊をカップルにしようと、ドリトル先生は大奮闘！そして、動物vs人間の対決が迫る！
