映画史に残る大人気コメディで、ジョン・ベルーシをスターダムにのし上げた作品。ジョン・ランディス監督が情熱にまかせて撮った下品で風変わりな本作が描くのは1960年代のカレッジ・ライフ。学生クラブ“デルタ”を舞台に大爆笑の生活が巻き起こる。「ブルート」ことブルタースキー役のベルーシに加え、ティム・マシスン、トーマス・ハルス、「ヒラメ」役にスティーヴン・ファースト、カレン・アレン、ドナルド・サザーランド、ピーター・リーガート、ケヴィン・ベーコンら名俳優が脇を固める。劇中に流れるオーティス・デイ&ザ・ナイツの「Shout」も素晴らしい。

After being falsely accused of stealing the budget for their annual cocktail cruise, three very different fraternity brothers are kicked out of their dorm.
