A young man returns to his home city of Pittsburgh and moves in with an older woman who he begins to rely on for emotional and financial support.

Man meets woman, and invites her home. The two start an intense relationship in order to shield themselves from loneliness.

Homicide cop Rita Cates takes a murder case where the victim is a Las Vegas stripper.
