元オートボット司令官センチネル・プライムとディセプティコン破壊大帝メガトロンが引き起こしたシカゴの惨劇から5年、すでにディセプティコンの大半は駆逐されたものの、オートボットとアメリカ政府の同盟も解消され、オートボット達は姿を消していた。テキサス州でしがない廃品回収業を営む発明家ケイド・イェーガーは仕事で赴いた映画館の中で眠っていたトレーラートラックを見つけ、それを自宅に持ち帰る。さっそくケイドはそのトラックを解体しようとした所、それがトランスフォーマーである事を知る。

17歳のケイシーが見覚えのないピンバッジに触ると、自分が思い描いた別世界へと入り込んだ。バッテリー切れで現実の世界に戻ってきた彼女の前に、不思議な少女アテナが現れる。そしてケイシーにトゥモローランドに戻りたいのなら、フランクという男性を訪ねるよう助言する。

オートボットとの壮絶な戦いの末に敗北したディセプティコンが、新たな仲間を率い、より凶悪になって復活。ディセプティコンの新たな侵略計画は、現存するオートボットたちの総力をはるかに上回る巨大なトランスフォーマー、“デヴァステーター”やメガトロン以上に凶悪な“フォールン”を擁するものだった。

「007」をコードネームに持つMI6のエージェント、ジェームズ・ボンドは新人女性エージェントのイヴとともにトルコでの作戦に参加していた。その最中、MI6の工作員が殺され、各国のテロ組織に潜入している全てのNATOの工作員の情報が収められたハードディスクが奪われた。ボンドはディスクを取り戻すべく、実行犯であるフランス人傭兵パトリスを追跡する。MI6部長・Mの指令により、ボンドと列車の上で格闘しているパトリスを狙ってイヴが撃った銃弾はボンドに当たり、ボンドは峡谷に落下し行方不明となる。 数ヶ月後。ボンドは公式に死亡が認定され、Mは情報漏洩の責任を問われ情報国防委員会の新委員長であるギャレス・マロリーから引退を勧められる。それは事実上の更迭勧告だった。その提案を拒絶するMだったが、その直後にMのコンピュータが何者かによってハックされる。さらにMI6本部も爆破され、多くの職員が犠牲となった。このニュースは僻地で秘かに過ごしていたボンドも目にするところとなり、ボンドはロンドンに戻る。00（ダブルオー）要員への復帰テストに臨むボンドだったが、成績は惨憺たるものであった。復帰に懐疑的なマロリーの意見を一蹴し、Mはボンドの職務復帰を承認する。ボンドは自身の肩に残っていた弾丸の破片からパトリスを特定し、新任の兵器開発課長・Qから装備を受け取ってパトリスの向かう上海へ赴く。

The film was initially part of a series about the fate of six married couples, but the events that happened throughout Marcela’s life were the reason why the director decided to focus solely on a documentary about her.

Astonishing temporal interventions — a 180-degree pan gazing downward on a New York City street that progresses from day to night, an image of Mount Rainier in which the foreground and background unfold in different time planes — unfold as symbolic transformations of natural and urban landscapes.

The pulse of street life finds no role in NEW YORK PORTRAIT; the dense metropolitan population and imposing urban locale disappear before Hutton's concern for the primal force of a universal presence. With an eye for the ordinary, Hutton can point his camera toward the clouds finding flocks of birds, or turn back to the simple objects around his apartment struggling to elicit a personal intuition from their presence. ... Hutton finds a harmonious, if at times melancholy, rapport with the natural elements that retain their grace in spite of the city's artificial environment. The city becomes a ghost town that the filmmaker transforms into a vehicle reflecting his personal mood.
