多十郎殉愛記 (2019)

第二次世界大戦の最中、人一倍愛国心に燃えるスティーブ・ロジャースは兵士に志願し国の為に尽くしたかったが背も低く虚弱な体から兵士として認められず悶々としていた。ある日知り合った戦略科学予備軍の科学者であるエイブラハム・アースキン博士にその愛国心と強く正しい心を認められスーパーソルジャー計画の候補として実験被験者として選ばれ、超人血清を打たれスティーブは屈強なほぼ不死身の超人として生まれ変わる。

19世紀初頭。イングランド南東部のサセックス州にある私園“ノーランド・パーク”を構えるダッシュウッド家の主ヘンリーを失った彼の妻と３人の娘。法律の定めるところにより私園を含め財産は先妻の息子ジョンに相続されるのを心配したヘンリーは、死の床でジョンに妻と娘の世話を頼んでいたが、ジョンの妻の反対にあいその約束は反故にされてしまう。彼女たちは悲しみにひたる間もなく、早速新しい家を探し始める。
