A couple of angels, O'Reilly and Jackson, are sent to Earth to make sure that their next supervised love-connection succeeds. They follow Celine, a spoiled rich girl who has just accidentally shot a suitor and, due to a misunderstanding, is kidnapped by janitor Robert. Although Celine quickly frees herself, she stays with Robert for thrills. O'Reilly and Jackson pursue, hoping to unite the prospective lovers.

Raghava (Prabhas) is a hot-blooded and restless youth who cannot tolerate injustice that is being done in the society. In the process, he picks up fight with local mafia leader Ankineedu (Anandraj). Ankineedu stabs Sirisha (Anshu) - the ladylove of Raghava - to death. He also issues an ultimatum to Raghava's parents to leave the city in few hours. The vexed parents ask Raghava to accompany them only if he agrees to listen to their words. They take Raghava to Mantralayam - a relatives place - and make him become a devotee of Lord Raghavendra Swamy.

The film starts with a flashback. ACP Bose (Jagapati Babu) is a sincere police officer happily married and lives with his parents and younger brother Chandu (Gopichand). Chandu is a college student and he falls in love with his classmate Indu (Anushka). Enter Section Shankar (Yashpal Sharma), the villain who is notorious for settlements and land deals. He kills anyone who comes in his way and does not leave any evidence or witness behind. He takes a loan of 100 crores from a private bank with the help of a conniving DGP and a politician. He kills the bank’s chairman in order to avoid repayment and puts the blame on Bose. Bose tries to stop Section Shankar. Chandu also gets into disputes with Section Shankar.

Chukkallo Chandrudu (Telugu: చుక్కల్లో చంద్రుడు) is a Telugu film released on 14 January 2006 and was directed by Mani Ratnam's associate, Siva Kumar. The film has Siddharth Narayan, Sadha, Saloni Aswani, Charmme Kaur, and Akkineni Nageswara Rao playing important roles but this film story lines nearly equals to Jagapathi Babu film Allari Premikudu.

Michael Velayudham is a chef specialized in Italian cuisine in Cape Town. He falls in love with Meera Sasthri - another Indian staying in Cape Town. Meera is a restoration specialist and she is moving to India. Since it is not possible to continue the relationship across the seas, they bid good bye to each other. Michael finds a local white girl in Cape Town and Meera finds a local politician back in India. The rest of the story is all about how their true love unites them despite them being so casual about their relationship. There is also another story dealing with Arjun Palwai that runs parallel with a time difference of 30 years in Waranasi.

The story is set in the backdrop of a college that is riven by two groups led by Prithvi and Shashank. Though there is nothing malicious between the groups, they just can't see eye to eye on anything. The only thing common between the two are their abiding passion for rugby.
