水を食べ物に変える「食べ物マシーン」を発明したものの、巨大ミートボールなどが空から落ちてくる異常気象を引き起こして町をパニック状態にしてしまった青年フリント。何とか町を救った彼だったが、思わぬ事態が新たに発生していたことを知る。何と壊したはずのマシーンが再び作動してしまい、マンゴーとフラミンゴが一緒になったフラマンゴーといった、食べ物と動物の融合生物フード・アニマルたちが生み出されていたのだった。
