内藤泰弘の人気SFコミックを映画化。舞台は近未来、流砂に囲まれた町・マッカ。伝説の大強盗ガスバックに町を狙われた市長のケプラーは、ガスパックを捕らえるため、利き腕の賞金稼ぎを集めていた。賞金を目当てに次々と集まってくる賞金稼ぎたちの中には、真紅のコートに身を包んだ伝説的ガンマン、ヴァッシュ・ザ・スタンピードの姿があった。

A band of medieval mercenaries take revenge on a noble lord who decides not to pay them by kidnapping the betrothed of the noble's son. As the plague and warfare cut a swathe of destruction throughout the land, the mercenaries hole up in a castle and await their fate.

全編にわたりコクトーの映像感覚がさえわたり、「フランス映画を語る上でさけて通ることができない作品」と絶賛されている。 物語は存在するようで存在しない、まさに実験映画であり、 コクトーは本作をを「表情、形式、身振り、音楽、幕数、場所を自由に選び、非現実的な出来事を現実にした記録映画である。」と語っている。

Les Charlots, a French rock group, continue their adventures, in the manner of the Beatles in Hard Day's Night. This is their second adventure. The foursome are on holiday, camping outside a village. The Olympic flame is going to pass through the village. A grocer, charged to prepare a celebration, calls upon the four to help. One of the four falls for the grocer's daughter. However, she runs away after the sportsman carrying the flame. The foursome set of to find her and win her back.

南太平洋の孤島にある古代の石像が大阪万博に出展されることになり、移設作業が行なわれることになった。島の文化使節はたたりを恐れて反対するが、作業は強行される。やがて石像が運ばれた跡地から、魔獣ジャイガーが出現する。石像は魔獣の封印石だったのだ。石像を追って日本へ向かったジャイガーは大阪の街を破壊しながら万博会場に迫る。そこへ正義の怪獣ガメラが立ちはだかるが、ジャイガーはガメラに卵を産み付ける。

Phaedra is a poor sponge diver on the lovely Greek isle of Hydra. While diving, she discovers an ancient brass and gold statue of a boy riding a dolphin, which is said to have the magical power to grant wishes. Still is a 5min dark zombie comedy that tells the story of 'Statue', a living statue entertainer caught up in the middle of a zombie outbreak. He finds himself frozen in fear whilst everyone around him flees or dies at the hands of the attacking zombie horde. Left alone by the unknowing zombies in an large open square surrounded on all sides he has to rely on his amazing ability to stand very still to try work out a way to survive his ordeal.
