ノースカロライナ州のブラウン山で100年以上前から怪しい光が目撃され、アブダクション(誘拐)の報告が相次いでいるという有名な実話を映画化。キャンプへと車を走らせる家族が事故を起こし、立ち往生してしまう。家族が助けを呼ぼうと進んでいくと、そこには、目を疑う光景が広がっていた。

MITに入学を許可されたが学費の工面に苦心する秀才デヴィッド。屋根裏で途方に暮れていた彼は、幼いころの誕生会を録画したビデオを発見する。なんとその映像には、一瞬だが現在の彼の姿が映り込んでいた。仲間たちと真相を探る中で、彼は亡父の作業場からタイムマシンの核となる部品を発見する。なんとかマシンを完成させた彼らは過去へと戻り、ロトくじを当てたり試験をやり直したりと好き放題に過去を改変しはじめる。

While video chatting one night, six high school friends receive a Skype message from a classmate who killed herself exactly one year ago. アルツハイマー患者の老女を取材する学生たちが想像を絶する恐怖に見舞われる姿を描いたオカルトホラー。医大生のミアと仲間たちは、アルツハイマーと診断された老女デボラとその娘サラの生活を取材するため、バージニア州の田舎町を訪れる。女手ひとつでサラを育て上げたデボラは聡明で意識もはっきりしていたが、ミアたちの滞在中に急激に症状が進行し、奇怪な言動が目立つようになっていく。突如として凶暴化し包丁を振り回したり、自らの皮を剥いだり、背中におぞましいアザが浮かび上がったりと、アルツハイマーだけでは説明のつかない現象に恐れおののくサラとミアたちだったが……。

中古パソコンを入手したマタイアスは、鎖につながれ監禁された女性やドラム缶の中に入れられた人など、ぞっとする動画ファイルの数々が保存されている「UNTITLED」という名前の隠しフォルダを見つける。その内容に戸惑っていると、見知らぬアカウントからPCを返さないとお前らは死ぬ、というメッセージが届く。
