Dynamite!! 2009 was a mixed martial arts and kickboxing events promoted by FEG, held in the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan on December 31, 2009. The event included bouts that encompass the DREAM, Sengoku Raiden Championship, K-1, and K-1 World MAX banners. The event had the conclusion of the U18 K-1 KOSHIEN 62 kg Class Tournament. The Final Four, as decided from eight participants at K-1 World MAX 2009 World Championship Tournament Final in October, faced off in a one-night tournament to decide the K-1 KOSHIEN 2009 Champion. Also, the conclusion of the DREAM Super Hulk tournament was held.

Seven of the finalists had won elimination fights at the K-1 World MAX 2005 World Tournament Open, while the eighth, Virgil Kalakoda, had been invited despite losing his elimination match. The two reserve fighters had qualified via preliminary tournaments; Artur Kyshenko had won the K-1 East Europe MAX and Rayen Simson had won the K-1 MAX Netherlands. As well as tournament matches there were also a two opening fights and two super fights fought under K-1 rules (middleweight and heavyweight).

Originally, Gilbert Melendez was scheduled to compete in the Grand Prix but was forced out with a leg injury and replaced by Rani Yahya. Also, Yoshihisa Yamamoto was set to face Wakashoyo at the event but was ordered by doctors not to compete due to a strained back. Kazuhiro Hamanaka took his place instead.
