Super Nova (2021)

遠い昔、遙か彼方の銀河では帝国軍の独裁体制が敷かれていた。反乱の機会をうかがう惑星アルデラーンのレイア姫は暗黒卿ダース・ベイダーに捕らえられるが、その寸前に二体のドロイドR2-D2とC-3POを砂漠の惑星タトゥイーンに送り込む。偶然にもそのドロイドを手に入れた青年ルークは、ジェダイの騎士団の一人オビ＝ワン・ケノービや密輸船ミレニアム・ファルコンの船長ハン・ソロたちと共に、反乱軍と帝国軍の闘いに巻き込まれていく。

1914年、ナイル河畔の地下の神殿で見つかった古代文字は火・水・土・風以外の“第5の要素”があると示す。2214年、ニューヨーク。久しぶりに地球を訪れたモンドシャワン人の宇宙船は、武器商人ゾーグとその手下マンガロワ人に撃墜される。宇宙船にあった細胞を再生すると、地球の言語が分からない美少女が生まれ、町に逃げ出す。彼女、リールーはタクシー運転手コーベンに救われ、彼女の言葉が分かる神父のもとへ向かう。

スタンリー・キューブリックがA・C・クラークのアイディアを基に製作したSF映画の金字塔。 月に人が住むようになった時代。月のティコクレーターの地中からの謎の石碑「モノリス」が発掘され、合衆国宇宙評議会のフロイド博士が調査に向かう。それから18カ月後、最新型人工知能「HAL 9000型コンピュータ」を搭載した宇宙船ディスカバリー号は、デビッド・ボウマン船長、フランク・プールら5人のクルーを乗せて木星探査に向けて航行していた。しかし、その途上でHALが探査計画に対して疑問を抱いていることを打ち明ける。ボウマンとプールはHALの不調を疑い、いざというときはHALの回路を切断することを決めるが、それを知ったHALは反乱を起こす。

映像化不可能といわれたフランク・ハーバートの大長編SF小説を、前作「エレファント・マン」で成功をおさめた鬼才デビッド・リンチ監督・脚本により映画化。“デューン”と呼ばれる砂の惑星アラキスを舞台に繰り広げられる勢力争いを壮大なスケールで描く。後にテレビ放映用にナレーションと未公開シーンを加えた長尺版も製作されており、日本では「デューン／スーパープレミアム［砂の惑星・特別篇］」というタイトルで紹介されている。（映画.com）

The Old Republic: Rescue Mission is a passion project born from the idea of breaking the bounds of achievability. Begun as a small collective of individuals to soon becoming a larger team, we set out with an aim to create some of the best fan-made content ever to be based from the Star Wars Expanded Universe lore. アニメ『宇宙戦艦ヤマト』のリメイク作品である『宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199』の続編。『2199』から始まるリメイク版アニメシリーズ作品としては４作目、「宇宙戦艦ヤマトシリーズ」全体では総集編を含めると１８作目に当たる。 劇場アニメ『さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト 愛の戦士たち』およびテレビアニメ『宇宙戦艦ヤマト2』のリメイクに相当する（作品タイトルロゴのうち「2202」の末尾（一の位）の「2」が他の桁の数字より大きく描かれているのもこのため）。
