An animated comedy that recreates the misadventures of the passengers of the Ark built by Noah as per God’s request. It’s just that living together does not seem to come easy for the passengers on board.

マペットの少年ウォルターは、地方で人間の兄ゲイリーと暮らしている。大人になったゲイリーは恋人メアリーと旅行でLAに行くことになり、同行することになったウォルターは大ファンであるTV番組「マペット・ショー」のスタジオを見られると大興奮。しかしスタジオはもう使われていなくて荒れ果て、石油王の陰謀で解体の危機に直面していた。ウォルターたちはスタジオを守ろうと、引退したマペットのカーミットを訪ねる。

ミネソタ州の小さな町にある本屋で、飼い主リンダと仲良く暮らすインコのブルー。読書家で人間顔負けの博識ぶりを誇る彼だが、屋内で育ったために飛び方を知らずにいた。そんな中、リンダのもとをブラジルの鳥類学者チュリオが訪問し、ブルーが絶滅危惧種のアオコンゴウインコだと告げる。絶滅回避のためにリオデジャネイロの研究施設へ来てほしいという頼みを受け、ブラジルへと向かうリンダとブルー。施設で出会った同じ種のジュエルに心ときめくブルーだが、施設に侵入した何者かによってジュエルと共に密売団へと引き渡される。
