やり手の不動産業者ジムは、忙しい中時間を作って家族との週末キャンプを約束する。だが、旅行前日になって豪華な大邸宅を売却したいという大口の依頼が入ってしまう。この取引を手放したくないジムは、渋る家族をなだめ、予定を変更してキャンプの前に物件を見に行くことに。だが当日、物件の邸宅に着くなり激しい嵐に見舞われた一家は、不気味な執事ラムズリーに案内されるまま、そこで一夜を過ごすことになる。
