1979年、テキサス。スターを夢見る女優マキシーンやプロデューサーのウェイン、芸術志向の学生監督ＲＪとその彼女で録音スタッフとして参加したロレインなど６人の男女が、それぞれの野心と思惑を胸にポルノ映画の撮影に臨もうとしていた。場所はハワードとパールの老夫婦が暮らす農場の離れ。彼らに場所を提供したハワードはどことなく落ち着きがなく、一方のパールはマキシーンのことが気になるようだったが…。
