The National Library of France is the guardian of priceless treasures that tell our history, our illustrious thinkers, writers, scholars and artists. Telling the story of the exceptional treasures of the National Library of France is like opening a great history book rich in many twists and turns. Without the love of the kings of France for books and precious objects, this institution would never have seen the light of day. The story begins in the 14th century under the reign of a passionate writer, Charles V, who set up a library in his apartments in the Louvre. But it was not until the 17th century, and the reign of Louis XIV, a lover of the arts and letters, that the royal library took over its historic quarters in the rue Vivienne in Paris, which it still occupies.
Underworld: Endless War is a collection of three short, anime-style tie-in stories – whose creation was supervised by Len Wiseman, director of the first 2 Underworld movies and producer of Underworld 3 & 4 – each tell a different story, and at different periods of history to highlight new events of the Underworld mythology. 各国の諜報機関をリストラされた５人の元スパイが、パリに集められた。雇い主も目的も謎のまま、ニースのホテルにいるターゲットから銀色のケースを盗み出すのが、彼らの仕事だ。武器調達の局面で思わぬ襲撃にあうなどのアクシデントに見舞われながら、なんとかニースまで駒を進めた男たち。しかし、チームのひとりに裏切り者が出現し、盗み出したケースは行方不明になる。これを取り戻すべく、アメリカ人のサムと、フランス人のビンセントは、結託して動き出すが……。
ソ連国内でアメリカ製の半導体チップを持ち出した003が雪原で遭難。遺体から半導体チップを回収したボンドはソ連軍に追われるが、スキー&スノーボードで振り切って任務を果たす。 003の死体から発見されたのはマイクロチップ。このチップは従来のものと違い、核爆発で発生する強力な磁気にも対抗できるものだった。製造元のゾリン産業が怪しいとにらんだ英国情報部はボンドにゾリンの内偵を命じる。そこでボンドはチップの製造元であるゾリン社を調査する。 社長のマックス・ゾリンが所有する常勝の競走馬を調査するうちに、その馬からはマイクロチップに制御されたステロイド供給装置が見つかる。ゾリンを追ってサンフランシスコに潜入したボンドは彼がシリコンバレーを壊滅させ、マイクロチップ市場を独占しようとしていることを知る。
フランス代表チームが中国代表に勝利した直後、フランス代表を率いるイヴ・グルアン監督が何者かに殺される事件が発生する。そして混乱の中、彼が身につけていた高価なダイヤの指輪“ピンクパンサー”が消えてしまう。捜査を指揮するドレイフェス警視は、意外にもドジなクルーゾー警部を捜査に抜擢する。そうして世間の注目を彼に集中させ、自分はのびのびと捜査を進めて手柄を独り占めにしようという魂胆だったのだが…。
