シノプシス
ハリウッドのスター、ボブ・ハリス（ビル・マーレイ）はウイスキーのCM撮影のために来日し、滞在先のホテルへと向かっていた。ホテルで出迎える日本人スタッフに軽く挨拶をし部屋に入るとアメリカの妻からファックスが入る……。
恋人と別れて一人暮らしを始めた不動産会社に勤めるスティーブンは、寂しさを紛らわすためにケーブルTVの申し込みをした。待つ事4時間。けたたましいノックの音と共にやってきたケーブルガイは、妙に馴れ馴れしい態度でやたらとサービスのいい変わり者。根がお人好しのスティーブンは、そのケーブルガイの好意を無下に出来ないと受け入れるが、それが彼の悲劇の始まりだった…。
