落ち目のアクション俳優スピードマンは、戦争大作『トロピック・サンダー』での返り咲きを目指すことに。コメディー役者のジェフや演技派のラザラスとともに撮影に臨むが、クランクイン5日目で予算オーバーに陥ってしまう。あきらめ切れない監督は東南アジアのジャングルで撮影を強行しようとする。
